Our founders, Katrina and Monica, have over 30 years of experience in residential and commercial construction and design. Together, they use their superpower of turning "undesirable" places into ones of luxury, comfort and function.

Katrina is a licensed residential and commercial contractor, which is no surprise because she has always had an eye for design and remodeling. She has an eye for good investment opportunities and has used that to purchase several AirBnB properties. Renovating these properties has been a passion and she has been able to include special features, like focal walls and custom draperies. These have all reflected her eye for design.

Monica specializes in interior design of both the residential and commercial spectrum. Her over 20 years of experience have magnified her staging and special occasion decoration skills.

Katrina and Monica have developed their superpower to turn the most underdeveloped, unappealing projects into jaw-dropping masterpieces. 

​

Their journey began when the duo realized they had six storage units bursting at the seams full of unique pieces of furniture and décor. Eventually, they were tired of paying the enormous storage fees and were ready to introduce their talents and services to the world.

In January of 2021, the journey gained some traction when they started experimenting with flea markets in the Benton, Arkansas area but their vision has always been more significant.

They dreamed of a brick-and-mortar storefront. 

​

After eight amazing months in the flea market industry, the owner decided to sell his building, forcing Monica and Katrina out of the nest and on to a new adventure. The only option was to go back to storage or to take the leap of faith and build their dream. And they had two weeks to decide! And here we are! We are excited to open our first This N That Home Decor location.
